The food and drinks were always on point regarding taste and presentation and delicious and we loved that we always got free water. "Dropped by Eightynine Café while in Puerto Princesa and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the creamy tomato pasta, ham and cheese panini, and the spicy tender bites — all really good. The pasta was creamy and flavorful, the panini was nicely toasted, and the spicy tenders had a good kick. Service was solid and they have free WiFi which is a nice bonus if you want to hang out for a bit. If you’re in Puerto Princesa, this café is definitely worth checking out."

"Just landed in Puerto Princesa (PPS) and did a quick Google search for a nice café to start the day and this one instantly stood out. The space wasn’t as big as I initially expected, but it was cozy and comfortable, just enough to accommodate a small crowd without feeling cramped. I ordered a hot Americano and their adobo flakes, and both hit the spot, the coffee was strong and smooth, and the adobo flakes were flavorful and satisfying."

"Went to this cafe as soon as we landed Palawan. It was busy inside. The server was only one so it took a long time to be served food and drink. Also, they missed 1 of our orders. I had panini sandwiches and hot latte. I liked latte art! Cute panda! One of us ordered hot latte as well but the latte art was a leaf. I got confused a little bit."

"Lovely cafe, doesn’t have huge amount of seating and gets busy. But so worth it, we can’t back twice for brunch. The staff were great and the food was amazing. We had the loaded oatmeal and chicken panini, both only 250p."
